InClimate 135; GM/Ford Cooperate for Fuel Efficiency

We’re all in this together. Cooperation has been shown to be a key element in conserving resources and reducing consumption. Now in a somewhat surprising move, long time rivals General Motors and Ford are demonstrating some corporate cooperation that could prove beneficial to the environment and cut greenhouse gas emissions. The auto giants have agreed to cooperate on automatic transmission design for cars and trucks. The collaboration is expected to usher in a new generation of fuel efficiency. Both companies stand to profit with engineering breakthroughs. Of course, the companies still plan to fight it out for market share.
