InClimate 620; Another Good Quarter for Solar

The road away from fossil fuel stretches on. The transition continues with the second quarter’s installation of 1,133 megawatts of solar photovoltaics in the USA. It’s the third consecutive quarter with more than 1 gigawatt of solar power installed. That brings the new total to nearly 16 gigawatts of capacity in the US or enough power for about 3.2 million homes.

Those numbers are sure to grow since new capital, design and engineering innovations have been bringing solar prices down. Solar is no longer considered just an alternative. It continues to grow as a primary source of energy world wide.
