The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) just reported that globally this September was the hottest since their record keeping began in 1880. This makes 2014 the third hottest year on record to date, but if the warming trends continue through December, it may well become the hottest year ever recorded in an era of increasingly hottest years.
