InClimate 740; Keystone Rallies & Eminent Domain

The Nebraska Supreme Court announced a ruling that upholds the Keystone XL pipeline route through the “Cornhusker State”, but don’t give up the fight. Besides a potential presidential veto, the Native Americans, farmers, ranchers and environmental groups that opposed Keystone aren’t done. TransCanada, the pipeline’s parent company, is not an American company. The prospect of a foreign corporation using Eminent Domain to seize land from red-blooded American property owners becomes another red flag and legal issue. Until, the land owners are actually served the legal issue will not be addressed. It seems like a big one.
