InClimate 745; 21 Nation Survey on Climate

In a 2014 Global Trend Survey, only 54% of Americans believed human activity is largely responsible for climate change. That’s the lowest percentage among the 21 countries polled.

Perhaps, being inundated with constant reports of severe weather events, droughts and floods numbs people to the problem or maybe the gradualness of the process and far-away loss of coastlines makes it a future issue with no need for concern. Then again, weather changes are uneven. Overall the average global temperature may rise while micro-climates vary. It’s hard to think global warming when your beard is frozen to the sidewalk.
