InClimate 757; Too Many Fossils in Reserve

One third (33 1/3%) of oil reserves, one half (50%) of gas reserves and more than four fifths (80%) of coal reserves need to remain unused between now and 2050 to avoid catastrophic climate disruption. There is no need for Keystone, the other pipelines, mountain-top coal removal, hydraulic fracturing and so on and so forth. Air, water and the environment would benefit as well. There is a need to transition to renewable energy by making oil, coal and gas secondary rather than primary sources of power.
