What we humans do on our planet is multiplied by a world population that is estimated at 7.1 billion. That’s a lot of zeros. In general, first worlders with more stuff do more damage than third worlders with less stuff. When you add just one puff of gas to the atmosphere, it doesn’t seem like much, but remember to “Do the Math”. Maybe think in terms of times 7.1 billion. 1 puff X 7,100,000 = 7,100,000 puffs - or a lot of greenhouse gas.
Reminder: May 9, 2013 - For the first time in millions of years, the Carbon Dioxide levels in Earth’s atmosphere passed 400 parts per million.
