Ali's UK request & response 

Upon my return from Art in Odd Places, NYC, I found this note from Ali (who lives in the United Kingdom) requesting an image. It reminded me of former postal art projects and I responded by creating this post card image just for Ali.

Rolling Nap Snoozes into Spring 

“Relax… Do Less… Save the Planet… It’s not easy,” so says Billy X. Curmano - as American Idle - in the “The 24-hour Worldwide Rolling Nap”. This, his latest multi-layered performance and environmental statement calls for a paradigm shift to a slower pace. Downer Avenue on August 13 at 7 p.m. The former Milwaukeean is an award winning artist, UWM alumni and combat wounded Vietnam Veteran.
