The current US House of Representatives which has been slow to accept global warming and has even acted to block legislation intended to curb climate change sometimes forgets about here on earth and looks to the future - as with the introduction of the Apollo Lunar Landing Legacy Act. It’s a bold proposal to extend the national park system to the moon to preserve the six sites where NASA moon missions have landed. There is concern that with space tourism, travel and colonization souvenir hunters and unsavory types may drop in and desecrate or collect specimens from the historic locations. Park Rangers will probably require specialized training.
